Residents started calling the PCMA business office before noon to report low water pressure and water outages. The number of calls coming in indicated a large main break somewhere in the vicinity of Indian Drive, and it was subsequently located near A-Dock.

The repair crew was on site before noon, but it took until 9:00 in the evening to pinpoint the location of the main break and dig down to where the pipes broke. The first picture below shows where the water from the main break broke through the road in front of A-Dock. The following picture shows the cut-out ends of the water main that blew out. The affected area was 90 inches in length! That's a ladder going down into the hole.

At 10:20 p.m., PCMA employee, Joe Clemas, messaged from the field that the leak had been repaired but the hole still had to be covered over and flushing needed to be done. A long day for the leak repair crew.
